The rich connotations of photochemical technology


What is photochemistry?
Photochemistry is the study of chemical changes that occur at the molecular level after a substance absorbs photons. This includes transitions between ground and excited states of electrons, atoms, and molecules, changes in physical and chemical properties, and the resulting chain reactions. Anlis' photochemical industrial water treatment technology studies the chemical reactions that occur when organic or inorganic target molecules are excited by photons in the 100-700nm range during water treatment and purification.

At the exhibition, innovative photochemical technologies and exhibits attracted considerable interest from visitors. This technology has been extensively applied in advanced oxidation processes across various fields, including TOC degradation in ultrapure water for the electronics industry, removal of micro-polluting organic matter from tap water, upgrading and deep treatment of wastewater treatment plants, and pretreatment of highly challenging organic wastewater. Currently, Anlisi's photochemical technology has been promoted and applied in numerous domestic projects.
